Suse and I went to check out our potential new stamping ground of Peckham in South London yesterday. At the Victoria Inn, in the corner of the pub was a little cage containing an excited Border Terrier so I asked why it was there and the barman told us it's only while everyone is eating because she's a greedy little thing and will beg all the diners. So that seemed OK to us and when we finished, we met Queenie the Border Terrier, owned by Molly the pub manager (pictured). Queenie is 10 months old but has only been with Molly for three months after her last owners couldn't control her. I can attest she sits on command very quickly- particularly if you're holding a scrap of Yorkshire Pudding!
